When to book your Newborn Session:
The best time to photograph a newborn baby is when they are under two weeks of age, although this is a guideline. We have had newborns as old as 9 weeks in our newborn studio, so if you’re interested and feel you may have missed the window please contact us! You can contact me at any time during your pregnancy to give me an estimated due date, I will then make a tentative booking and when you arrive home from hospital with your brand new baby you can contact me to arrange a suitable time and day for your session.
Where your session is held:
Our newborn studio is in a gorgeous loft space in downtown Abilene Tx. We have a kid-friendly waiting area, complete with snacks for siblings and coffee/sparkling water for mom & dad. Our studio address is 244 Pine St on the 3rd floor in suite 301. A few doors down from Grain Theory.
Newborn sessions are by appointment only and take place Monday-Friday, typically in the morning hours. Our building closes at 5pm daily.
How long is your Newborn Session:
Newborn sessions can take 1-3 hours, allowing enough time for feeding and comforting. Although, most sessions last 1-2 hours…and some finish in 45 minutes! It really depends on your sweet babe.
When will your session be ready to view and order:
You will see your first images within hours of leaving our studio and your full session will be ready 7-10 days after your session. When your session is ready for you I will contact you to schedule your in person ordering session. Your order is ready for pickup in boutique packaging 3-4 weeks (often sooner) after you place your order!
Do we offer a package that include both Maternity and Newborn sessions?
Yes! It’s our BUMP to BABY collection. It’s 375 and includes two sessions with us to BEST document this amazing season of life.
***When booking a session with Blissful Lens you are agreeing to a model release, in case your session is featured in a magazine or on the internet. You are also agreeing to the images from your session to be used for marketing use.
**If you wish not to be featured, that is perfectly fine too. Please notify me prior to you session if you wish for your session NOT to be featured in this way.
* Due to high demand, at this time we only offer maternity sessions to our clients when booking your Bump to Baby sessions.
